Route Optimization
Route Optimization refers to the process of finding the most efficient route for the object. It also helps in the utilization of the selected vehicles for the given jobs. Using route optimization, one can save time, reduce fuel consumption, improve overall efficiency, reduce transportation costs and increase overall productivity. Jobs are automatically created with the route optimization.
Please Note
- This feature should be available in the user’s Map key based on the APIs enabled in the map’s account.
To optimize the route
- Login to your account.
- Go to Settings > Master > Route Optimization
- Select the optimization Based On from the dropdown list.
- Distance: Click on Distance if you want to optimise the route based on distance.
- Select the Company from the dropdown list.
- Select the Objects from the dropdown list.
- Enter the Radius of the points.
- Distance: Click on Distance if you want to optimise the route based on distance.
- Select the optimization Based On from the dropdown list.

- Distance with weight: Click on distance with weight if you want to optimise the route based on distance with weight.
- Select the Company from the dropdown list.
- Select the Load Type – Full or Partial.
- Select the Product Type from the dropdown list.
- Select the Unit from the dropdown list.
- Select the Objects fom the dropdown list.
- Enter the Radius of the points.
- Distance with weight: Click on distance with weight if you want to optimise the route based on distance with weight.
- To add a start point, click on the ➕ button.

- Search Location in the search bar. Using the marker, select a precise location.

- Click on the Save 💾 icon.
- Search Location in the search bar. Using the marker, select a precise location.
- To add delivery point:
- Click on the ➕ button for uploading delivery points one by one.

- Click on the ➕ button for uploading delivery points one by one.

- Click on the Save 💾 icon.

- Click on the upload button for bulk uploading delivery points.

- Download the sample file from the link given. The file will hold the basic information about the delivery points.
- Upload the XLS file after filling up the details.
- Click on the save 💾 icon.
- Download the sample file from the link given. The file will hold the basic information about the delivery points.
- Click on the upload button for bulk uploading delivery points.

- Click on Optimize Route.

- To create job of all trips:
- Click on the ➕ button.
- Select the Start-End Time of the job from the date and time picker.
- Click on Save.
- Click on the ➕ button.
- Click on Optimize Route.

- To create a job of one of the trips:
- Click on the ➕ button.
- Enter the Name of the trip.
- Select the Start-End Time of the job from the date and time picker.
- Check the box if you want Checkpoints with time.
- Click on Save.
- Click on the ➕ button.
